Tours are scheduled on the fourth Saturday of the month, March through November. Reservations are not required. A donation of $5 per person is requested.
Tours begin at 1:00 pm and last 1½ to 2 hours. Extensive walking on outdoor paths and steps is required. During the renovation of the Seminary, some paths may be rough, dirty, or unfinished.
At present, the meeting point for tours is the end of Smith Drive (off Linden Lane) next to the Italian Villa. The meeting point for future tours will vary depending on construction progress. Please check back here or call 301.589.1715 for updated information. On tour days, direction and parking signs will be posted on Linden Lane.
| Directions: From Georgia Avenue south of the Beltway (I-495), go west (left) on Seminary Road for one block to Linden Lane. (Linden Lane goes straight; Seminary Road bears right.) Proceed a ½ mile, crossing a bridge over railroad tracks. Continue on Linden Lane, and follow our tour signs to the meeting point. From Georgia Avenue north of the Beltway (I-495), go west (right) on Forest Glen Road for about one mile, crossing the railroad tracks. Continue across a bridge over the Beltway, and bear left on Linden Lane. Continue on Linden Lane, and follow our tour signs to the meeting point. From the Chevy Chase/Kensington/Bethesda area, take Jones Mill Road, go east on Forsythe Avenue. At the top of the hill, go through the 5-way intersection onto Woodstock Avenue for one block. Continue straight on Linden Lane, and follow our tour signs to the meeting point.
